UF & UCF CASA Meet Up

Location 2: Prime Outlet International

Time: 12:00PM - till when we want to leave...

We got to meet the new UF CASA Officers. YAH!!!

Unfortunately only 2 non-officers members(UCF CASA) showed up at Chan's Family Restaurant for dim sum. Everyone else was UF CASA :( T.T Some how it didn't feel the same as last fall UF CASA meet up, less CASA members showing up this year. After having a nice meal with UF CASA we all gather at the parking lot of Chan's to say hi to UF Officers. To bad Allen (Not are Vice President) took off so we didn't get a chances to take any pictures with them.

Finally, we we went to Prime Outlet to do some shopping. While UF was doing their annually scavenger hunt we just wondering around checking out the stores, window shopping, eying the fashion whiling wishing we were in California or New York City (They have better stuff there.)

After having a nice day at Prime Outlet we went straight to Mike's house to film for our CASA Video, which you wouldn't want to miss.

On behalf of the Chinese American Student Association, I would like to thank everyone for coming out to our first general meeting. Everything went pretty well if you ask me. Food was great, ice breaker was interesting. I hope everyone had fun, and I would like to apologize to those who did not get any food.

"GO DIEGO GO" Arena Concession

Time: Saturday 12:00 PM – Sunday 4:30 PM

The Concession for the two day "Go Diego Go" event at the UCF Arena was a success. Thanks to the all the members of “CASA and Pi Delta Psi” who showed up and put their efforts into helping us. Yes, cleaning up after the concession was drag as always, counting making sure we weren't short on inventory is a pain, but it must all be done. Delta Phi Lambda was also there doing their own concessioning, and during our short breaks between shows and intermission we took some time off to just to visit them. For those who showed up and those who didn't get a chance to help us during the "Go Diego Go" event, feel free to help us next time.

China Earthquake Relief

May 28th, 2008

Time: 10:00 AM – 1:45 PM

On Wednesday, CASA Officers and members gathered around the UCF Student Union and were ready to give it their best. With donation boxes in their hands, they rallied for donations from fellow students, UCF faculty, and parents of the new incoming UCF Freshmen. The charity event was very successful! Over $450 in donations to the American Red Cross was collected!
